-- When my preschoolers were learning to read and write, we had a giant easel chalkboard with big chubby pieces of chalk that were easy to grasp. They scrawled gigantic letters, putting their whole bodies into it!
-- Plus, an oversized wooden ABC puzzle saw a lot of use, too. My girls loved that puzzle because we made up different word games each time they put it together. &quot;A is for Alice. B is for Bart. C is for Carlos. D is for Darby... &quot;

The &quot;TU&quot; picture is cute. It reminds me of my great-niece, Rachel, who ran up to her mom to ask how to make a letter &quot;Q.&quot; Her mom showed her and then asked, &quot;What are you doing with the letter Q?&quot; Rachel replied, &quot;I am writing a Thank Q letter.&quot; - Suzan</description>
