It’s been a long couple of weeks. Students have spent countless hours in classrooms bubbling standardized tests. Time to decompress with a little Origami. Rourke Publishing is fast becoming one of my favorite publishers on Big Universe. Their origami series is sure to drive away the testing blues and stimulate creativity! Take a look at these awesome titles:
Wizards, Witches, & Dragons
Spacecrafts
Monster Trucks
Knights & Castles
Horses
Dinosaurs
Cars
Airplanes
Origami Resources on the Internet

- Foldables Wiki Bring Paper folding to your classroom using the ideas in this wiki!
- Check out Dianne de Las Casas‘ Handmade Tales: Stories to Make and Take . This book is my bible for active storytelling with elementary students. It has elements of origami as well as draw-and-tell, fold-and-tell, and string stories.
