Summer Is A Great Time For Outdoor Exercise

The weather is great! Warm, sunny days in the summer are the perfect opportunity to take kids outside and play ball. Children can get moving by jumping rope, skating, skateboarding and riding scooters. Long walks around the beach or lake are also a good opportunity for families to exercise together. Family members that exercise together improve their overall health and wellness. This is a good habit for people to develop when they are young. Parents and kids can brainstorm a list of "active activities" and post it on the refrigerator.
